Day 29 - A song from your childhood
"Holiday for Strings" by Spike Jones and his City Slickers. Spike Jones was like a "Weird Al" Yankovic of the 1940s, making satirical music of popular songs. I wasn't a kid in the 1940s, but I had this Disney tape called DTV where clips from different Disney movies and cartoons were synched to various songs. It's kinda like Disney making AMVs to their own materials. I remember watching this a lot when I was little, and the Spike Jones segments (there are two Jones songs on the tape, I just slightly prefer "Holiday for Strings") always made me laugh a lot. My favorite part is at about 2:20 to the end when, literally, laughter is the musical tool. It's silly, I know, but this stuff used to cheer me up when I was little.
