Basement?

Ok, here is the deal. We have a room in our basement that is the "office" but really it is just full of random junk and some office supplies. I would much rather live in the basement becuase it is far away from the rest of my family and I could pretty much do what I wanted without prosecution or noise control

Have you explained the advantages to your parents and sister already? Because that would be a good place to start. Also ask if they really even use the basement that much.

Yes I did. And Bethy threw a fit. Up untill now I (and occasionally my Dad) were the only ones who used my basement. But now there are these extravegent plans for it.

You could change your parents' mind by getting a picture of the little german in your basement. Then add a caption that says "Your daughter is sleeping in the basement with a little german."

How could anybody resist that?

Good Idea! Then Herr could add it to his wedsite with the 500 other pictures he has of the little german.

make charts, graphs and diagrams. parents love it when you look like you've actually spent time thinking about these things.

put up a wall. thats what happened in my basement. half of its my room and half of its a "crash pad" i guess, i'm not really sure what that means.

I'm not sure what a "crash pad" is either. You would have to ask my father and sister about that one.
