unfortunately I'm not making it on to MSN or Yahoo too much lately, but you have my e-mail address... let me know what's up, I'll try my best to help you out...

and I'll be waiting for you in April. I'll be happy to show you around and introduce you to my group of friends... hopefully we'll see you then. :)

The High Institute of Music and Ballet? That's N's alma mater! It used to be much nicer, he says, last time he visited he was v. disappointed with how dirty and run down it had become. But yeah, that's where you find the fun crowd, for sure.

I don't dance, at all, with anyone, ever, period.

No debke? Nothing?!? Aw, bummer . . . 'cos in Syria, people are born to dance. They love, love, love it - men, women - EVERYONE dances. That's honestly one of the reasons I love it there so much . . . doesn't take much to "make a party".

It's true I tell ya! I've never been to one party where people didn't dance. Even at Christmas, everyone dances. Even my grandma dances!

I know, it's really a Syrian thing - dancing is an obsession over there from all I can see.

Glad to hear things are going well and that you got a room. It's really too bad I can't swing by on my way out of Jordan. Those 6 days were such a tease.

And is this Deema one of the two Deemas we met at the demonstration? ANd if so is it the shorter one or the taller one?

yeah, it's a shame you can't pass through again... :(

different Dima, one that studies at Hazem's institute and doesn't seem particularly political...

Hazem is with me and sends his greetings... hope you're having a good time in Jordan!

Dima is way too popular of a name in the ME...anyway, good luck with all that. Say hi to everyone and all that.

p.s.

Jordan blows
