for the people, life in damascus goes on as normal... i imagine within the government there is a lot of activity right now, but ther is no noticable change on the street from 1 week ago, other than more people listening to the radio.
i think we have iran to thank for the lack of israeli strikes on syria.
i wouldn't want to advise you either way... i'm planning on staying if israel attacks syria. but, that being said, i don't anticipate israel going that far.
