she was only wearing a headscarf when she visited Jama al-Omawi, but in any case, how could that be part of 'sending the wrong message'? Republicans vote for such dumbfucks.

hi. i just realized that you had added me to your friends list, so i added you back. i'm happy to hear that you love damascus, it is my favorite city in the world too. i was just in syria last summer visiting my family's village, which is by the qalat al hosn, an hour away from homs. i would love to be able to live in damascus like you. enjoy it!

not bad... :) probably coming back to the u.s. the end of december... and hopefully getting married to a lovely iraqi girl i've been dating the last 6 months or so. :)

i'm not sure if i'll ever get into the habit of regularly updating this thing... you should just sign on to yahoo messenger or msn more. ;)

i never feel that inclined to post anything... even though i still check friends posts sometimes. i guess i prefer personal communication to blogging. *shrug*

i was into reading your long ass updates. i haven't had much time to log onto chat thingies but i do have gmail (so gmail chat is the most convenient cause i don't have to do extra loging in or opening a new program). and sometimes ichat (but not everyone has that). i forget about yahoo and i don't have msn. well, phone calls and real meetings would work even better :D

i think ichat can login to yahoo? or msn? or does it still only work with aim? aim is never loaded on any of the computers at internet cafes out here, so i'm never on it.

anyhow, i'll probably be back on the 14th of january. :)
