Hey Mrs. Van Zee--
It's Amanda Eisenreich. I'm not sure if you remember me, but I'm one of Matt's friends from Marquette....you guys came last semester, went to church, and took Tiffany, Karl, and I out to dinner. Matt sent me the link to your journal and told me to check it out. I just want to tell you that I loved your entry. It really made me sit back and think about those things. We are so incredibly lucky that God graced us with the things we have, and He could take them away just like that. It's amazing what God shows us everyday through the little things that happens. Dearest Mary,
I was reading your journal and I became filled with emotion. I know I'm a girl, but I rarely get girly and I just thought I would tell you that I miss you so much and am so inspired by your words. God truly does work through your life and someday I pray that God will give me a little bit of the wisdom he has blessed you with. I know you struggle with stuff too, but who doesn't. Even though you are not perfect I really look up to you and just want to tell you that I love you. God has worked in my life so much through your words and just how you live your life over the years. Thank you.

Sweet Dani, Thanks for your kind words....you are so precious to me b/c you have always been so open about your struggles.....and your love and continual thirsting for God through His Word. I treasure all the Monday nights and other random times we have spent together sharing emotions and truth! Love you! Mary
