People seem to disappear a lot here. My first warden disappeared during the last flood. I was told she went home.

I know people - both wardens and inmates - do disappear rendomly at times. Maybe the Admiral thinks they're well enough to graduate.

Maybe it's like an alternate reality thing. My Inmate did it a while back. He was dead back home, left for a while and then came back with new memories.
