I'm currently majoring in History, and am double minoring in Spanish and Education. If I do this, I don't think I'll finish in 4 years. I'm really considering dropping Spanish after I had it today. I don't think I'm really interested in taking Spanish as much as I was doing it to help me get a job when I'm done. I think that's just taking away ( Read more... )

What kind of history are you looking into?

Oh gosh, I'm really interested in World History a lot more than U.S History. Kyle and I are already thinking about team teaching Humanities, so I would really love to teach Western Civ. I enjoyed it a lot last year, so that's a definite possibility right now. There's so much more to World History than U.S History. The United States is comparatively boring in my opinion.

I've never been a fan of indecisiveness, but you make it seem alright, yanno what I mean?

It's a good thing that it's never enough to just be TOLD that something is okay... you either have experience it for yourself or see someone you know or trust experience it.

I also find it odd that the road to indecisiveness ultimately leads to a decision.

Oh man, you're talking to the queen of indecisiveness right here! I'm awful when it comes to making a decision about what to wear. Ask Angela, people have helped me pick out my outfit from time to time, haha.

I'm finding out now that trying to do what I previously wanted to do is too much work for me. I have other things that I want to hopefully accomplish, and I'm on my way to do so as of now.

It really does! It's funny how things work, huh?

How's school going so far? I bet it's a nice change from work. Do you know what you're planning on majoring in, or at least have an idea of what area you want to explore?

Lol. Perhaps the only time I really care about what I'm wearing is when I'm going dancing or to a formal event (like prom).

School's great. I wish I had the money to be going to Uni right now. But, I know it's not the best thing to do. I just want out of here. I'm only taking three classes right now and the credits are all going towards my Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT). I'm more firm in my believe that I'll be majoring in Psychology now that I've had a taste of Sociology. Bleh. Haha.

That's great that you're enjoying school and finding out what you really want to do. You've been into Psychology for a while now, huh? You should consider UO for Psychology. They have a great program. Good luck with that!!! Be prepared for many years of school! :D
