The end is almost here

So today was my last day of classes for the year. Really exciting I must say. My Modern Germany professor dedicated his last lecture to beer, which was awesome. I learned that Ale is fermented on the top, and Lager is fermented on the bottom :) He even showed us pictures of beer he's made himself which topped it all off. I sure will miss that man

Did he mention the Reinheitsgebot at all? It's the "German Beer Purity Law" which only allows hops, water, and barley in German Beer since 1516. However, it was recently superseded by the UN so now you can find regular varities of beer sold in Bavaria.

my chem professor first semester taught us about how they make champagne on the last day of class. he wore a tux to class that day, and he brought out a bottle of champagne and drank it in front of us.
I love college...
