Well, to my great surprise, I was informed today that my poem took first place in the creative writing contest I entered on a whim. For my haiku, which remains unnamed as of the present moment:

Sunshine invaded;
she waltzed through the window shades
and asked me to dance.In other news, I think we found two pretty awesome couches and a mattress
