Golden Protectors (on-going) - chapter two
CHAPTER TWO
The day has finally come. You jumped like a fool with your friend in front of the building that held to the concert. This is ridiculous, this is not your first time watched their concert for sure, but you still had this butterfly on your stomach every time you got your change to watched the concert.
“ready?” asked your friend, smiling like a fool.
“reaaaadddyyy!!” You both ran into the building with laughter and wide smile.
You standing there, right in front of the girls and you screaming like you never scream before. You shouted Tiffany and Jessica’s name as you waving your light stick as you jumped. You saw them waving their hands, joking and fooling around with the other member, do their back hug and averything sweet in front of your face, and you’re crazy already because of it.
“FANY UNNIE!” you shouted but than you gulped when the named girl looked at you and smiling at you. “oh my god….” You whisper as you looked at her in awe, you week on your knees.
“she is… smiling at you??” asked your friend. You just shrugged.
This is Yoona’s part to sing her solo song and you still had those super energy on your body. You shouted her name too when Donghae and Leeteuk go down the stage to find one lucky sone. That was Yoona’s order before they go down the stage and grabbed your hand as they walked hand in hand with you. You held your breath, envious scream everywhere.
Yoona now just a meter away from you and she’s smiled wildly at you - you force a smile but fail - she grabbed your hand and cuddled you up until the photographer took your picture with them and Yoona broke her cuddle. She looked at you for a while before she tilted her head to one side and you swear for your life, she’s looked at your necklace slightly. You bowed at her and the two handsome guys before you go down the stage with your trembled hand (well, trembled in a good way).
In the next a couple of hours they ended their concert and you want to cry by watching at them. They’re all bowed to all of you and waving their hands. You scream again, you want more but you know they wouldn’t rewind the concert. Anyhow, you still feel so happy and proud of them, you love them so damn much so you decided to sneak to the backstage. Alone.

“hey! What are you doing here?”
You freeze as you turned around and found a crew looked at you sharply. You shook you head, sweating.
“I-I um… I… lo-st”
“lost?” he looked around. “where’d you wanna go?”
“rest… room?”
“ah… I see. Let me led you. come on”
You cursed yourself. That was stupid and your planed is all failed. It was just failed. Restroom is a good alibi but… looked at now, you should be stalked the 9 girls and not walked into the rest room with one crew led you.
He stopped in front of the restroom door - seems like this is the crew’s restroom - and he turned back to you.
“well, here it is. This is a crew restroom actually but you also can use this”
And your guess is right, the crew’s restroom. You smiled at him.
“thank you”
“welcome” he smiled. “don’t get lost again”
You sighed and you want it or not, you’ve to entered the restroom if you don’t want the crew knows you were just fooled him. You washed you face when you heard the door creak opened by someone. You ignore it at first but their voice caught your attention. Familiar. You take a look at the present and your eyes widened, heart thumping fast, you forgot how to breathed normally.
You saw Sunny entered the restroom first and followed by Sooyoung and Seohyun behind. The three of them notice your appearance as they smiled friendly at you - they even bother to bowed at you - you bowed deeply as you smiled at them.
“a-an-annyeong~” you greeted nervously. Who wouldn’t? that’s SNSD Sunny, Sooyoung and Seohyun in front of your face!
“ah annyeong, sowonie” that was Sunny, she greeted you cutely.
Just by that, you blushed madly. You are busy picking out your book and phone just to get their sign and photo. You turn around at the 3 girls and freeze when you saw them watching you with arms crossed, smiling. Nervous all around you and you couldn’t thinking straight.
You looked over your body just in case your Soshi t-shirt and your jeans hot pants looked silly for them. You bite your bottom lip as you heard the three of them giggled. You looked at them.
“what’s your name?” that was Sooyoung.
“uh…. I’m (put your name here)”
She nodded, still looking at you from hair to toes. You cursed yourself to not wear your best t-shirt and jeans.
“enjoyed the concert?” Sunny asked as she walked closer to you and stopped centimeters away.
“y-yeah… enjoyed it so much. You’re all great!” you answered joyfully.
They giggled again before they walked passed you and Seohyun tapped your shoulder and smiled at you.
“glad you liked it”
The three of them disappeared from behind the door and you still stood there looking at the wooden door. You have a wide smile on your face as you turned around to the mirror and splashed your face with water.
“restroom is not a bad idea. My lucky day ever”

From that day, you tried to made your friend believe that you’ve met Sunny, Sooyoung and Seohyun in the restroom but it seems didn’t change your friend’s mind that you just dreaming. “whatever” you rolled you eyes and stood up, leave your friends giggling because you force them to believe your story. You huffed.
It was 5 in the afternoon and your last class has ended around 15 or 30 minutes ago. You walked out from the campus gate and walked through the quiet afternoon street. You don’t notice that that is strange, plus it was fogging. You ignored it instead you plugged you earphone to the both of your ears and listen to your favorite music.
Half way, and slowly you notice the quietness around you. You looked around just to find nothing but the thick fog. You unplugged your earphone and stay still in your position, looking around, a little bit scare. You heard a soft buzzed and you looked at you necklace just to find it shining softly against your skin. You hold it on your grip because you know one thing; if it’s shining or buzzing, there’s something will happen to yourself, or to someone you love the most.
You steady your breath and gasped when you saw a shadow walk circling you. The buzzed on your necklace strongest and you started to scared more than before. You saw one shadow but than the other shadow appeared, you swear you saw one of it fly above your head.
“…h-hello? W-ho’s… who’s there?”
There’s no answer and the shadows all gone. The whisperings sound you heard before are gone too, you can’t hear nothing but the strong silent. You took couple of stepped backwards until you leaned against the cold wall. Still hold your necklace tightly just of it’s your life.
Black smokes fall in front of you and soon, it’s change into a human postures. The buzzed on your necklace now can be heard clearly and it’s shine brightly on your grip. Your heart skipped a beat when the one of the ‘thing’ in front of you rising its hand to your hand that gripped your necklace. Just centimeters more and the hand stopped when a soft hum interrupt.
You looked behind the black shadow and saw 9 other shadow standing behind them. At the first time, you afraid, afraid because you think they number is more than before. You frowned when you saw the other 9 don’t have the same aura like the 5 shadow in front of you. You looked at your necklace and it shine not like you’ve seen before, it is shining but this time, it’s shine calm and the buzzed change into a soft hummed. You never saw your necklace this calmed before so you exhale in relief, know this is not a bad thing with those humming and calm shine.
You looked at in front of you again and when you want to inhale, one of the shadow moved so fast and now it just a centimeter away from your face. You held your breath, your gripped on your necklace loose, your eyes heavy and your head suddenly dizzy. You collapse when the black shadow almost grabbed your necklace but soon, it’s flew above your head and with your blur vision, you saw 5 of the 9 white shadows walked towards you when the other 4 take care of the 4 black shadows. You can’t see its face clearly as you fainted.

You rubbed your head and open your eyes slowly. You tried to stood up but pair of hands force you to leaned onto the soft mattress. You sighed and opened you eyes. You’re in the hospital and your parents looked so worried. You frowned and asked your parents what’s wrong.
“what’s wrong? Why am I here?” you asked with your hoarse voice.
“you was fainted. Someone brought you here and call me. What’s going on?” your mom hold onto your hand.
You remember what happened earlier and for your reflect, you find your hand made it’s way to your neck and sighed when you saw your necklace still on its place. You smiled weakly to your parents.
“I was-“ you paused when you think that both of them won’t believe you if you told them the truth. “I was just too tired”
“are you sure? Because the girls wh-“
“girls? Who?” you cut your father’s words.
They exchange glance before they smiled at you and change the topic.
“you should take a good rest now, get well soon honey. We’re outside if you need us”
With that, your parents leave you laid confusedly on the bed and they closed the door softly. You saw their reflection from the window, they’re talking with someone. You sighed and closed you eyes with one hand hold onto your necklace.

It was two days and the doctor said you are okay so he let you go home. You are totally boring, you are home alone and your parents said that you have to rest for the next three days although you are totally fine. You stood up, grab your wallet and cell phone and go outside your home after you wrapped your coat tightly to your body. You took a ride with a bus to the bookstore.
You leaned your head to the window and your breath made the window glass beady. The bus driver stopped to the next stop and someone sat beside you - you ignore whoever it is and plugged your earphone as you go into your little own world. You watched the busy road with your blank expression when someone poked your shoulder. You turn your head to your right and you saw a girl with a hoodie that cover her face but you still can see her long brown hair. You unplugged one of your earphone.
“yes?” you asked as you straightened you sit.
“did I took a right bus to the bookstore?” she asked. Her voice sounds familiar to your ear.
“yep, I also want to go there too”
The girl nodded and you took it as she understood already. But when you want to plugged your earphone again, she poked your arm. You looked at her.
“anything wrong?”
She shook her head. “can I come with you? I mean… I’m kind of new in Korea”
You frowned. “oh… sure. I’m gonna tell you if we already there”
The girl nodded again. You don’t plug you earphone again instead you put it onto your jeans pocket. The bus stopped and you told the girl to following you. You looked at the girl beside you - she refuse to looked back - she is not taller than you, pink coat with white hoodie, jeans and 5 inch white heels. She looks like she is not a ‘just a girl’ like you.
“so? You wanna go there?” you pointed the bookstore with your thumb. She nodded without looking at you. “o…kay, than” you frowned. “see you there?”

You turned around and left the strange girl behind as you chuckled by the how weird she is. You walked with your hands on your coat’s pocket and opened the door with your shoulder. You go to the novel’s rack and started to find anything that can catch your eyes.
You heard the door opened and the pink coat girl entered the bookstore with head down. She looked at you for a good 1 second and you swear of god you saw the girl is super beautiful. Feels like you ever saw her but you forgot where. The soft humming from your necklace and the soft shine cought your attention. You looked at it and hold it tightly on your gripped but this time, you feel more safe than before. This feel is like when you saw the 9 white shadows that day. You closed you eyes and smile because of the soft humming.
The shine is shinier than before when someone poked your shoulder softly. You opened your eyes and looked to your right. Your jaw dropped, eyes widened, heart beating fast when you saw that girl, that strange girl who sat beside you at the bus. You’re amazed by her, looked at her in awe and adoration.
