I recently read an article about 'secrets of a happy marriage' or some schlock like that. Mostly it boiled down to making time for each other in a busy world, keep communicating and make each other a priority

absolutely. I know we've talked about this before and some of what you said about knowing you're in his thoughts really resonated with me. I've been trying to practice it and its really made me feel good that by me doing it, he's gotten into it as well with no encouragement from me.

Now its kind of a game about what to say and where to put it. I put one on the remote control yesterday. :)

James and I leave notes for each other, but we write them as if we were the cat. James even signs his notes with little paw-prints.
