You remember how it was carefully explained to you and me and everybody else that refusals detract from your Cooperation Rate and callbacks add to it? That's totally wrong, as a supervisor just found out. The Cooperation rate is just the number of completions and filtered respondents divided by the number of voice contacts one makes. A callback is just as bad for you as a refusal. Do you remember how monstrously people would cheat by coding all sorts of refusals as callbacks? It hasn't been doing anybody any good. Hence, the humour.
