Wow. Just hitting on random posts on Facebook really creep me out and scare me. So much hatred about Obama. Cuz he's (half) black? Cuz he's open minded? There's so many LIES flying around that the haters just eat up like they'd die without hate. Some stuff that just makes me realize how hateful the opposition was

If we kept waiting until we're all 'ready' for change, we'd still be stuck in the trees. We NEED the change, whether or not we think we're ready for it.

The election did get ugly and a lot of people acted in reprehensible ways and spoke disgusting things. I can't blame McCain for the actions of his so-called "supporters" who preach hate and racism, trying to bully people into voting for him.

McCain isn't personally responsible for the words of everyone in his campaign - he went out of his way to make his point specifically against some of the more hateful lies - but I'd still have voted for Obama if I'd had a vote to begin with. Heh, according to various polls I've read, most of the European population would have voted for Obama!
