Methotrexate...be careful what you wish for?

Right, so I finally have a rheumatologist who is taking my condition seriously. It's still undifferentiated connective tissue disorder, but she doesn't want it running amok. *big big hugs* I hope that it helps more than it harms, and that the benefits are very much worth it.

This stuff IS scary, but you want to try and get your life back, and this may be your best chance to succeed.

Oh, definitely it's my best bet. I've already done the whole weighing options thing. It's just that now it's 'real', and I have to actually deal with it being scary shit that is going to go into my body, where before I was so desperate to get any option to make things better.

Moved back the big day. I was going to be having injections on Fridays, starting a week from today, and after talking to people who've taken MTX, it looks like the days immediately following the injection are the worst for side effects. I'd rather have my 'bad' days be days when my other half works rather than the weekend. Not to mention, have a throat infection that needs treatment, and family getting together for thanksgiving (where I'd like to be able to enjoy the food!) and my birthday.
