Wouldn't you know it ... no F&)&'ng potting soil.  SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I did scrounge some from some old pots and dead plants from past years.  Got the two pots for the island and the long pot for the back done at least.  No roses yet - don't want to risk them at this point

um spearmint. my dad has that growing wild all over his yard. and the chives too, they spread like crazy

I was really hoping mine would take off, but no such luck. I may have to break down and go get some small plants from the local nursery. I was looking forward to having spearmint iced tea this summer
