this is a really good entry. the best part though is the second paragraph. the thing about that is that you actually have control over ALL of that. just because you have a degree doesn't mean you have to go work for a corporation. it sounds cheesy but you can do it all. you just have to work really hard for it and do what you love. pursuing what you love will bring you the best. if you do something you don't want to do, not very much good can come from it. sure you'll learn something, but you'll miss out on the best that you could have had. this point of your life is about making huge choices and taking huge risks and leaps. if you take the ones that you want and not the ones you don't you'll be better off. maybe not as rich, but money is just paper and status, neither of which can actually enable you to survive. press on, it's all worth it :)
also, remember that you're never "committed" to any one thing unless you allow yourself to be. if you want something to change, take charge and change it.
