I don't know... I think the stuff that's happening in these last few months of Bush & Co being in power will have effects beyond our grand-children's generation, if not further down.

Thanks for this insight. WHen I was taking all my globalization classes, the number one thing they emphasized for development was opening up to imports and figuring out what to export and all that neo-liberal GARBAGE. Now that the American financial system is finally revealing the debt-rot it has been covering for years, it looks as if other countries around the world will be affected as well. Meanwhile, if things had been more contained and less globally integrated, perhaps a financial crisis would have been only a problem here and not everywhere else.
