the worst feeling in life is realizing that you love someone a whole lot more than they love you. and that goes double for non romantic love.

I went to National Harbor, MD tonight to see Katelyn while she was in town and I got horribly lost. So lost I have no idea where I was or how I ended up at the right place. I feel like I'm watching old episodes of snl, except I'm watching current tv. Everything seems like a bad spoof. I was flipping through channels and extra had a "breaking news" segment about Oprah's puppy dying. I saw an ad for an upcoming episode of cold case based around john lennon songs. How is this real tv?

dc just redeemed itself somewhat. i just got home from the jones street station/watson twins/ben kweller concert and it was AMAZING. small venue, cheap drinks, an indie atmosphere. ack. the flight i found just jumped up $50. So I found a flight for $236 that actually is better because it leaves at 6:30 friday and doesn't leave orlando on monday until 9:30, so I get 3 full days in florida. but after booking it I realized it is out of Dulles which is a pain. I am planning a little vacation and even the planning and the possibility excites me and brightens up my dreariness. I am hoping to take the afternoon off of March 13 and then all day March 16 so that I can go to Florida for a long weekend. I'm going crazy. My lunch hour is supposed to be relaxing, it makes me want to jump out a window. I eat in our lounge to save money and I usually read to relax. It usually isn't loud or crowded.
