My Mum's had to go to hospital on Tuesday night for a gallbladder infection. She's on three antibiotics and she might have to have her gallbladder removed. Please send all your best wishes/vibes/energy/healing/thoughts to her. I'm really worried about her as she basically hasn't been able to eat since Saturday and she is quite weak. Fortnightly pay is normal here. Weekly pay is usually only for jobs like working in McDonalds, casual work and the like. Some people get paid monthly but luckily, those jobs are pretty rare, because OMG.

That's so weird. :P I find monthly pay is ok because lots of stuff like phone bills extra come out on a monthly basis. Weekly pay is more casual but fortnightly is pretty unusual in the UK. Interestingly, the employment agency I work for was set up by Australians, so maybe it's just normal for antipodeans? :)

My mum had a gallbladder op years ago, apart from having to watch what she eats a bit she's fine! I'm sure your mum will be too, sending you all best wishes. My mum still has her gallstones in a plastic pot as some sort of souvineer :-/
CBT makes a lot of sense but sometimes it makes too much sense and fails when faced with nonsensical depression things!

I'm glad your Mum is ok! I'm sure mine will be too. I just find that... the bits that make sense don't always help... weird huh? When your therapist is reduced to saying "just do it" you sort of feel it's not quite that helpful!
