Prologue: Flights of Angels
Pairing: Akame.
Rating: PG-13.
Summary: AU. Kamenashi Kazuya is an angel - or at least, he used to be. Considered a disgrace of an angel and sent back to earth as a fallen angel for certain reasons, he is doomed to live his life alone and without anyone to love him, no matter how hard he tries. That's all he thought he was destined for...until he met Akanishi Jin.
Notes: This is my first ever fanfiction ever written about Akame or anything not anime, so it probably isn't very good, but I'd appreciate it if someone would read it and tell me if I'm actually doing well for my first attempt. Thanks.
Prologue:
It was the bright rays of the early morning sun that punctured his sleep and disturbed his dreams on a morning just like every other. He rubbed his eyes as he stumbled out of the bed at the sound of the alarm that was piercing the air shrilly. Once again, the thought of getting a radio clock crossed his mind, which was quickly forgotten as the annoying alarm punctured through his half aslee- daze. He slammed his hand on the sleep button, ending the shrill ringing.
My alarm is trying to kill my brain, he thought as he yawned tiredly, taking a step on the ice cold tiles of his bathroom. He turned the shower on and let the steam fog up the room before turning to glance in the mirror.
He wiped a part of the mirror clear, enough to show only his face.
As he did this, he tried to ignore the dark shape hovering above his shoulders, evident on the mirror even with the steam coating it.
They were just so obvious.
Fists clenched, he turned away from his own reflection, trying to ignore the almost skeletal, ripped appendages that defiled his body, which never disappeared. Even when he tried to place clothing over them, they protruded from the cloth as though the appendages themselves were as real as an illusion.
Too bad it was all too real.
A nightmare.
His nightmare.

That's all for the prologue; if anyone is actually reading this, please comment and tell me just how bad this actually was so I can try to improve. Thanks.
