The actor who plays Billy does a great crazy person. That was my favourite part too.

I was sad about the bird though, I had a parrot on my shoulder at the time who thought it was a bird snuff film :/

I was soooooo pissed off about Nate killing the bird. I thought that was horrible and it's making me hate his character, hate, hate, hate. Why did they have to go and do that? I thought he was sort of compassionate. Evil fucking writers, grrrrr!!!

I agree, it's like they are trying to make Nate into this evil unlikable character right now, he has always been out there, but now that was just over the top. And I was a little shocked why people were so freaked out over a bird flying into the house. I know a lot of people *are* freaked out by birds but ...enough to kill it?! It was such a beautiful bird ( ... )

You know honey I was writing up a similar entry right about when you were writing this one but it went on and on and as usual I set it aside to finish and post later. I thought exactly what you did. Man, what a brutal episode, and Claire, who I used to like so much, seems to be getting more and more flip and selfish, and Nate killing the bird made me hate him. I felt so sorry for Billy and afraid of him at the same time. There's just so little compassion in this show these days. And Nate being such a dick to Brenda, he is so Fucking lucky she is taking on his child and mothering her, just loving her the way she does. I'm starting to get disillusioned, I mean, it's still a pretty wonderful, groundbreaking, unique show, but I'm starting to think the writers can only write sympathetic scenes for the gay characters ( ... )
