While I'm glad they were able to settle up quickly with Cappy and that it seems like he's eager to work out a longer deal, splitting the difference on a 1-year deal is pretty much standard procedure for a good, content player in his first arbitration year. Hopefully Billy will be willing to do the same, though I can't see him doing a multi-year deal because he should be due a mega-deal when he goes free agent. Both are still under full Brewer control through '09 regardless so let the good times roll out the barrel for the time being.
