It's not what you know it's who you know...absentmindedfanSeptember 13 2005, 03:16:53 UTC
My dad is a bus driver and gets to give a free Oyster pass which covers all London buses, trams, tubes and DLR to a nominee (moi). It kicks ass because all I need to buy is a train ticket into London, and from there it's free free free. It's nice to keep in my bag cos if I ever get stuck somewhere I can get back even if I have no dosh. Although I think for security I should get the magnetic bit of the Oyster card that I hold over the reader in stations implanted in my wrist, just in case I am mugged for this incredibly covetable object.

Mmmmm, freeee travel. *drools*
It's funny reading your description of your office as I've seen it all before, infact I've probably seen areas you'll never see. You're right about the view from the canteen, bloody excellent.
Canary Wharf is such a weird place but at the same time so cool. The left hand side of it has this real mediterian feel about it during summer for some reason, I think it's all the water. The people in the area are actually quite nice as well, perhaps it helps that it's virtually just office people.
