Came across this was on the work intranet and I thought it was gonna be crap, basically every station has been replaced with a musical artist/band. I wrongly assumed it would be full bands I hate and be badly thought out. Given your local line is the Northern ‘Hip Hop’ Line and you hate all hip hop, you could have done a lot worse than Missy Elliot. Funnily enough my local station is her long term producer Timbaland.

I don’t particularly like Missy, but she has some good tracks. Her recent tune “Control” wasn’t good, but it was a homage (or rip off depending on how you look at it) to the great early electro sound. It tried combining two all time classic tracks “Clear” and “Music Makes You Lose Control”, but just didn’t work.
