Everyone feels this way at one time or another; we feel like we're "wasting our life." I know i did. College feels like a starting gate at the beginning of a race for me... like i need to be out of school before i can really start my life, but it isn't true. I think you have the absolute talent to accomplish anything you want to. The drive to do so you will certainly find later. Don't pressure yourself into something that will only happen on its own. You'll just drive yourself mad. Of course, that might help you in terms of being a creative writer. Also keep in mind that the phrase "BOLLOCKS!" is hilarious when said by someone with an authentic English accent, and should be thrown into any good play or screenplay. In my opinion.
