Normally I don't give a fuck about shit like this. But today I was looking through a friend's lj info, and I found that she was part of a community. I checked that out and noticed several people on my list were also members of the community.

So I want to ask: what is this dissrespectyoda shit, and why is it a popular cancer today

I have nothing at stake here other than hoping for an answer to why it seems like everyone's part of that community when it looks like there's little to gain from it.

Haha I thought you were mad or something. Okay, do you know Aaron from Gallaudet? Creepy kid, elfish ears? His picture's the icon of that community. Someone just decided to set up a community bashing him because we all were so sick of him hitting on young girls on LJ. In that community, we'd find something he says in other people's journals and post it in that community, saying "OMG LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!" and we'd laugh at him. For example, the most recent post in that community is of someone discovering a comment Aaron left in a 16 year old girl's livejournal, trying to hit on her.

It's just a silly community. We'd also make fun of his posts and such. I know we're being petty and mean, but it's pretty fun.

A few people who grew up with Aaron are also in this community, and they'd tell us stories about how girls got restraining orders against him for sexual harrassing them and such.

It's either an immature scandal run or an implied satire, but hardly productive both ways in my book. Huh.
