Watching a TV show. Main character found out her love interest had dated a whole lot of women in the past, promptly freaked out and started questioning his worth as a boyfriend. No indication that he'd lied to these previous women, or abused them, or used them, or been dishonest or nasty. It was just that he'd dated a lot of women.
I give the main character a little rope because she reveals later that she'd never been with anybody except her husband, who turned out to be a gigantic fraud, liar, and cheat... so she was worried about whether she was getting in over her head. But the persistent idea that one should be retroactively jealous of all one's lover's former partners just drives me up the wall. It's a poisonous idea, based on ownership of another human being's body and emotions, and I just hate it.

And what brought this on... or do I even want to know?

He sounds like he'd be better off without that woman, honestly!
