Petfinder.org is your friend :)

Also, maybe she will consider a youngin' (2 or younger) and a kitten? Too many adult kitties who are absolutely wonderful need homes :)

I was going to suggest both but especially an older cat. They're more likely to have manners and know the rules. I can't imagine two kittens at one time...

how about three?

that's what we ended up with, and there were days i was definitely at my absolute wits end wondering when the hell they would grow up.

i'm told though, that it's worse if they only have themselves to entertain.

Three? Yikes. It's pretty shocking the mischief they can get into. I've had kittens
that were climbers. Makes for a rude awakening as you're brushing your teeth getting ready for work. And the. Finding curtains on the floor when you finally get back home.

There must be a few animal rescue shelters in the Boston area with cats to be adopted and I agree with Jen, don't just look for the cute kittens. There will always be an audience for them, so look into getting adult cats as well.

My friend in Easthampton just had a neighborhood cat have 4 kittens in his closet. Send him a note: mohawkjames at gmail dot com

He's also "znuh" on LJ.

Quincy has an animal shelter.

If you're looking for slightly older than kittens I've got a couple of friends with young (<1 year) cats that could use a good home.
