Fresh from passing his driving test almost perfectly (two points off, and he had checked the mirrors!) and a couple of days with his parents, Tannim arrived at the hotel late Wednesday afternoon. Wyatt pulled up the car at the Quail Run Lodge. Somehow they'd got through the trip without him tossing someone in the trunk. "Finally," he said, stepping out of the car and looking around. "Interesting place."

Turtle was just glad to be there and that she was able to hold back to urge to constantly bother Wyatt about switching to the market report. Despite having had plenty of space in the backseat by herself, she made a big deal out of stretching once she was out of the car.

"Guess we'll have to check at the front desk to find out what room number he got," Wyatt said. He headed off to do so, then returned to the car a few minutes later. "Okay, got it," he said. "This way." He led them to the room and knocked on the door.
