Vive la France!

Looking back at my past few entries, I realized it my LJ looks like a dubious sports blog. Someone who didn't know me and read my LJ would get a rather skewed view of what I'm like, one thinks. Perhaps at some point I will make non-sporty posts. That point, however, has not yet arrived ( Read more... )

I think Adam's team is beeped. Kobe and Sheed would murder each other, and Yao would stand there stiff as a board and watch, while Nash got grease on everyone from his hair.

Hmm one does not know positions peeps play, that remains one of the things about basketball that I still do not understand.... I also straight up dislike many of the good players, therefore will not pick them. I think my team isn't in that great of shape either, in fact I shall ditch the two other random foolios and just have three... Baseball would be so much easier.

Shaquille
LeBron
Wade

I worry that a team with only three players will not fare very well. You need a point guard and a power foward.

I realize that, but when one looked on Yahoo sports at the players in those positions, I couldn't find anyone I liked skill or personality wise or hair wise.

What? Soccer is way more fun than other sports. Chard obviously just has ADD and needs to see 5 baskets a minute.

This has happened before. On Ruby's LJ, you will find his attempt to defend the intellectual aspects of baseball.

I figured my soccer dis would rile the pro-soccer elements. I don't dislike the sport, but I hardly think it's a symptom of ADD to prefer sports in which there is scoring more than literally once or twice a game.

Once is fine with the victories of France however I much rather would have seen England come out on the top of that bracket. What pisses me off is the bull shit of Germany losing to Italy. Germany had held them off completely untill like the last 3 minutes. I am also soewhat pissed that the Ivory Coast lost, espically considering they stopped fighting a civilwar when they got into the cup.
