You know there is no reason for you to feel guilty about feeling happy. I totally understand what you mean though. I sometimes feel the same way when I hear about the violence in the world and all of that. You know on the other hand, the thing you can do while hearing about that is being more grateful for the opportunities in your life that make you avoid this kind of tragedy to penetrate into your universe. Compared to the millions of people suffering in the world, you and I, as well as practically everybody we know, are the lucky few who get to have a chance to be happy and well off. I think that that is the reason why we should seize this opportunity to make our lives extraordinary on any level, because we have the chance to do something out of who we are. I have a theory that because we are well and safe in this world, we should therefore earn this privilege and make the best out of it
