 I sense a disturbance in the force.

 Colonel Robert L. Howard. He was my battalion commander in the Military Police and when I was attached to the band at VII Corps headquarters in Stuttgart. I refused to reenlist unless he did it. He did. He used to sneak up on us to test our security on post. We called him The Skull. RIP Colonel.

 This thing really has great energy. I really like the Metropole Orchestra, and this Brecker tune is so neat with its chords and their strange qualities. Brecker things always make me happy that way. I am going to transcribe this for a smaller group.
