Malachi woke the next morning and stretched, enjoying the feel of bare skin against red sateen sheets. He looked over at the body of the woman lying next to him and smiled. She still slept, for the moment, but he didn't intend that she should do so for long. He brushed the hair away from her neck and leaned down to nibble lightly, just above her

"Mmmmmm," Anya made soft noises, still mostly asleep, but aware enough to press against the warm, hard body next to her.

Malachi worked his way down her back, tracing the line of her spine with his lips.

Anya shifted a little and reached behind her, her fingers trailing over his hip bone.

When Malachi reached the small of her back, he slid a hand around to her belly and gently rolled her onto her back.
