I've just seen my two year old son Chris for the first time in about a year and a half. He was born on christmas day 2 years ago, but his mom and I didn't get along so well. He's turning out to be pretty ace.

I will say that I admire you for making a decision re: your parenting involvement and sticking with it. Speaking as someone who is estranged from her absent father, I think it would have done a lot of good if he had chosen to stay out of my life if that's what was best for him// for us.
