I realize just  how very alone i feel here. Not because people specifically exclude me out of choice, but more out of compartmentalizing their lives and i fit into many's "every once in a while" compartment. i don't know everything that chi alpha people talk about, and maybe they do discuss it and i just haven't heard it... but i think it's really really important for you to be able to talk to people about what it means to be a christians studying academics in a non-christian environment... to be able to come together and think about how you put things together academically when what you believe goes against everything you seem to be being told by those you know in that academic setting. and then how do you continue interacting with them in a loving way... it would just be nice to even be able to just talk about it, to encourage each other in it, and to know that you're not the only one dealing with this--because you aren't.

Remember, the isolation you are feeling is just temporary. Your situation will change. You're not gonna be at that school forever. :-)
