Awww, thank you! And yes, Sergeant Jingles is indeed very okay after obtaining his just, fishy desserts. As devious as I like to think of myself, I don't think I could write a story where a kitty got hurt! There are lines, sometimes. ;) Thank you very much for the compliments and for reading!
Yay! It was tough to decide how much background/details to put into a one-shot entry, but I envisioned her as a poltergeist brought on by a girl who was drowned, only able to affect the world around her when obsessed or hopping mad! So it's debatable how much of that I actually conveyed, but... well, it was fun to try. :) Thank you for reading!
I was definitely thinking poltergeist, didn't think of drowning but I think that's because my husband's playing loud music and telling me stupid things and I've got a headache :)
Were it not for Sergeant Jingles, this might've been semi-tragic! But the presence of determined kitties makes almost everything better. Thanks for reading :)
I can totally connect with the vibe of this piece, and I connected with Ginny's circumstances right away, though I'm not entirely sure I get the nature of the connection between the cat and water for Ginny.
I'm glad parts of it clicked, at least! I was worried (correctly, it seems) that I wouldn't be able to convey everything in so short a space... ah well, something to try for next time. :) Thank you for reading!

I was all scared for the poor little kitten, but he seems okay so that's good.
I just want to read it over and over and swim around in the words.

I'd feel sorrier for Ginny, but at least she has a cool companion.
Fun ghost story!
