As I told your partner, I too wish for a different life, a different past... but even if I found an alternate "me", I don't think I'd try to take their place. I have too strong a conscience to allow me to do such a thing.

But I understand the desire to have a different life based on a different past. Oh, I understand that *PERFECTLY*!
