Longaberger Baskets

The Longaberger family has been making baskets for generations. Dresden, OH was a huge hand-made basket weaving town, and it died out in 1936.  The Dresden Basket Company was about the only form of business back then and everyone in town worked there and learned the trade of hand-weaving baskets, including Grandpa Longaberger. the giant basket is funny! I grew up in a small town called Porcupine Plain - and guess what giant tourist attraction we have???
