One of Daimon's powers is the ability to detect other supernatural deities. Lloyd is a complicated case. In his universe Light Isn't Always Good and all the angels we know about are actually manufactured holy beings with powers given to them by soul-sucking, soul-tweaking crystals implanted on human or half-elf bodies. It is safe to say that the 'angels' are people who frag others with holy magic, though some of them can heal to a degree. The difference between lower ranking angels and the 'real' angels is the manifestation of their wings: compare the douchebag on the right, who is a grunt angel, to the cute bruiser on the left, who is one of the higher tier angels. Lloyd's Exsphere has his mother's soul in it and it may have bonded to him in the womb, and then it evolved and turned into one of the higher crystals. It gave him pretty blue angel wings that are... uh... somewhere.

TL;DR: He has no real 'magic' to speak of, just enhanced speed/strength given to him by the Exsphere. He probably won't feel like a Biblical angel, but the rest is up to you.

So, technically they are only angels in name, but clearly have supernatural elements to them? Alrightie.
