i miss when i had the time to write in live journal. so, that means i miss college.

college seems like a cakewalk compared to this whole "real life" thing.

this summer blows.

does anyone else agree? i can't put my finger on exactly the cause, but something is not right. lack of excitement, or something. fall can't come soon enough.

On the Cyclone at Coney Island.

my grandmother died last week. it was my father's mother. i took three days off from work (when i had a planned trip to boston) to fly home for the funeral. i saw my entire family. yes, it was sad. but she had been suffering from alzheimer's disease for almost 8 years, and it was her time.

thanks to those who have been so supportive.

I was awoken last night by the LOUDEST
fucking gun shot I have ever heard in my life.

Every year. Mid-May.

ALLERGIES ATTACK!

No matter how hard I try to derail them, how early I start on the meds, they always manage to weasel their ugly little allergy heads into my nose and wage war. They've got axes and guns and cannons! They'll stop at nothing to make a normal day into a sneezing, wheezing disaster-zone.

This life is rough.
