I've not experienced that nor has anyone I know. I can't wager a guess.

On another weird note. My sons ears get hot and turn red all the time. The doc doesn't seem to think its important and doesn't know what it is. It annoys my son.

So that doesn't happen to most people when they get sick? Heh, I always used to refer to them as "fever pains." I guess nobody had a clue what I was talking about ;P

I did mention it to my doctor once (the kind when I'm stressed - I didn't think the actual fever pains were worth mentioning). He just sortof laughed and dismissed it. This was the doctor who thought I was fat, by the way. But I don't think most other doctors would have a clue either... I know I'd get the standard, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do. Take some ibuprofen and come back in a few weeks."

I got a sharp pain in my wrist that only lasted a few seconds (I think) and then it didn't happen again. Weird.
