At first meeting, Rabi seems simple to read. He really isn't, however. Usually he seems content, friendly, energetic, flirting with girls and teasing other boys to see how far he can get with it without getting pummeled. (He gives people nicknames, and most of the time they aren't appreciated, but Rabi grows on you, so the resentment doesn't last long.) He's not exactly "eccentric," as he leaves that to his father, but he doesn't like sitting around and doing nothing when there's nothing to do.
The funny thing is that he's exceptionally lazy when there is something--albeit not really important--to do. However, if something has to get done or someone needs him, Rabi dives in with a grin across his face and absolute confidence in the moment. He isn't cocky, daresay, just confident that he'll come out of it winning somehow in the end.
He likes to give advice spontaneously that actually tends to be helpful, eventually, to the people he gives it to. Spontaneously meaning he pops out of nowhere. Rabi likes to play pranks on people (such as painting their faces when they're asleep, etc), although nothing drastic or dangerous. It's not like he doesn't act his age, Rabi just enjoys having fun. While some can call him a womanizer, Rabi is actually a gentleman--most of the time at least--he just really, really likes women.
Like stereotypical redheads (oh this family is doomed), he has a short fuse to a temper that only dies when someone gives him a logical reason to calm down, he's put into shock, physically snapped out of it, or is put onto a guilt trip. Though if he's angry and can't get out of it, his rage becomes dangerous. He becomes violent, although usually takes it out on inanimate objects, opposed to people. He would never hurt someone unless given the reason to. Another thing that affects his usual good mood is people mentioning anything about his eye. He either becomes pensive, upset, or just angry. He’ll brood if he’s made pensive or angry, sadly.

Background: Rabi's life started out much like his siblings: Cross Marian came across a woman by the name of Odette, who was a hooker in the kingdom of Molodiouf. Rabi, however, is the exception to his siblings. Cross found out that the woman became pregnant, and seeing that he didn't have the means nor smarts to take care of his son, took the boy with him when he was born. He is lucky in this sense, because not only did he grow up with his actual father, he got away from the situation that his mother was in.
That didn't mean it got him away from women like that. Rabi's father was the rather active man, and that meant he ended up with younger siblings as well. Still, that comes later that he finds out about them. Growing up under a man like Cross Marian is... interesting. It was an experience that Rabi will never forget, and he inherited much of his charms from his father, along with his like of women and wine, although he doesn't drink as often as his father nor does he smoke. He didn't grow up with an absence of women, in fact he was a hit with them when he was younger. The lack of a true mother didn't matter any to Rabi, because he had his father and the women that he would be around. When his younger siblings were conceived, well. Rabi found other ways to occupy himself.
When he was fourteen he came across another boy of the same age as himself, unconcious and hurt. Being the good soul he was anyways, Rabi treated the wound as much as he could and wrapped it with his scarf before they could take Kanda Yuu elsewhere to make sure the infection didn't worsen his condition. Although Rabi made up many nicknames that annoyed Kanda, and got on his nerves a lot, the two became rather inseperable. It's still difficult to explain the relationship.
Shortly after Kanda was better and the three of them were moving on again, Rabi got into an incident that involved the loss of his right eye's sight. He doesn't share the information of what happened very often, if at all. The only ones that know are Cross, Kanda, and himself. He adjusted rather well for the lack of his eye, actually.
Recently however, a girl by the name of Haruko appeared with a guitar, exclaiming he was one of them... and then finding out that their father had been with him the entire time, along with her younger half-sibling Kanda. He already knew, not long into being around the family, that it was going to be absolute hell with these people. Although fun hell, as he got along with all of them rather easily.
Then, Kairi was sent away.
Likes: Girls, sparring, his mallet, his father, headbands, scarves, Kanda, bugging the hell out of Kanda, making up nicknames with Kanda's name, hanging out with his brothers (&sisters), chilling with Big Daddy Cross.
Dislikes: Giving up, eye patches, talking about his eye patch, people messing with women, people messing with his family, people messing with his Kanda, running out of energy

Hahaha! God I love this place. And this family. I think it's hilarious that there's so many of us.
And Kanda is somehow related to some of my half-siblings! This is kind of weird, but also pretty funny at the same time.
I just wish that they would stop setting things on fire, I'm getting tired of putting the fires out before they start burning people alive, too. Apparently that's what happened to Blank. I wince at the thought. Bad enough I have to put up with Kanda trying to beat me to death or maim me with his katana.
Additional information:
If it's allowed, Rabi has the basic abilities he does in the manga of D.Gray-man with his mallet and his Innocence. If need be, it doesn't have to get quite as big nor extend like it does in the series, and of course all of the abilities will be tamed down as not to over do it, but. Yes. That was my basic idea, if this is all right. And I haven't quite gotten the kinks of how he got the eye patch worked out, so it's a touch bit vague right now.
