[he can make a very good educated guess on what he's doing.]

...Harry. Are you still going over the case files?

[ No doubt Kid's done the exact same thing. He offers a smile though at seeing the other boy. ]

Hey, funny how these things always push us together, yeah?

[ He runs a hand through his messy hair. ]

Yeah, figured I'd give it a go again.

[ Though what he was thinking to accomplish with such little evidence is a mystery. ]

[yep. many times before.]

Yes, though I suppose it would also be inevitable.

Just don't push yourself to the point of exhaustion. We've already lost one officer, we don't need to have another one down from overworking.

[it was both serious as well as in jest. but mostly serious.]

But if you need any help, I'll be happy to assist in any way possible.

I'll try not to. Thanks. You do the same.

[ Because somehow Harry has a feeling Kid would also be up till the wee hours working on this case. ]

That reminds me. Someone contacted me over the dreamberry. It was only text and all they offered were their initials, SH. Do you know them? I think they could help.

...

[slight cringe.]

That would be Sherlock Holmes. In my world he was a fictional detective, so I am not sure if your world also had any reference to him.

[ Well that makes Harry's eyebrows go up. He may have gone to Wizarding School for a good portion of his education, but he had attended regular school as well. So yes that name is quite familiar. ]

The Sherlock Holmes?

Some version at least.

Despite his personality, he would be a good asset to have.

You're probably right about that.

I'll fill him in then. We could probably use all the help we can on this.

[a nod.]

You may want to check in with Mr. Edgeworth, but he will probably feel the same.

Probably...I imagine he'd want to do anything to catch this killer.

[sighs.]

I admire his ability to work through this case, though I do wonder if it really is the best idea for him.

It might be in it's own way.

I'd probably be the same.

As long as he can keep an objective eye, I do not have a problem with it. I believe him to be a very rational person, but we should keep an eye out just in case.
