Once upon a time, there lived a little rat. He lived downtown in a small condo he had painted pink. One day, the rat went strolling just as the streetlights were blinking on and the nightlife was beginning to chirp. Rat decided to have a latte at his faveorite cafe, a little nook next to a rose garden surrounded by brick. Just as he sat down at a nice little table, there was a thunderous crack as the rose garden exploded. After the initial sting of thorns embedding themselves into passerby skin, rose petals filled the air, thick and frothy. Rat choked on one. He untangled himself out of the chair he had been sitting in, toppled to the ground in the force of the explosion. Rat winced as he pulled a thorn out of his cheek. He looked around, everybody was picking up their coffee cups and pulling out thorns and groaning. Rat put on his beret and muttered, "I'm ditching this joint." THE END
