so, i went to mexico this past weekend...

driving into mexico with the top down...

he makes funny faces...

my lovely mom and stepdad who made this trip possible and also paid for my alcohol consumption the entire weekend...

we walked around the fish market and shopped some. shannon bought fake gucci sunglasses, i got a ring, and we played with all the toys...

after the fish market, we all went back to the condo and took a nap. we ended up waking up at about 10pm and decided we still wanted to go out for my birthday. so, before we left my mom did the whole birthday cake and sing along deal...

after the cake thing, we went to manny's and got drunk with my parents. it was a good birthday...

the next day was spent entirely on the beach. i didn't get much of a tan, but oh i tried. all the kids had planned to go out that night so we ate our dinner around the campfire. we were all talking about this guy next to us on the beach that was all by himself and all of a sudden he walked up and asked if he could join us. his friends basically ditched him. he was passing around tequila. oh, and he's 35. so, to go into town we were going to take a cab but chris, the guy, offered to take us. we were all kind of sketched out by it but agreed anyway. my mom made me put a steak knife in my purse, just in case. she had damn good reason to. chris had this huge ass truck and did not drive well. he blasted nickelback, gave us whip its, and drove off a 4 foot ledge almost sideways. we seriously almost died...several times. we made it there fine and all but i guess chris hit someone's car with his tire and then beat up that guys, the security guard, and snuck back into manny's. we eventually ditched him and had a great time...
this is chris, he's crazy, but we did have fun...

this is danny. i've known him since i was 6. he's practically my older brother and i love him...

this is pete. he's family now, too...

i was much too drunk by this point, but all the boys took one last shot...

we went to lunch before we left at the lighthouse. it's on this hill and this view is awesome. you can see the entire fish market, sandy beach and the condo we stayed at in the background...
