That is actually a very interesting question. If we took one's character and then their looks reflected it, I think there would be a lot of ugly people out there.

oooh what if it changed as your goodness changed? Even in moment-to-moment things. Everyone would know if you were lying because you would suddenly go ugly.

Anyway, I didn't really answer your question, but added my own thoughts to it. Deal with it.

And I thought of another creepy facebook stalker thing to say to someone if you see them on campus. "Heyyy! You're wearing that shirt in your facebook profile!"
