So livejournal has been a depressing place to be as of late. Too many people are too upset with life. I personally see no good reason for being upset with life. It's going to keep happening, so why not make the best of it? Sure life can get complicated with schoolwork, grades, relationships, money, the lack thereof, family, and any number of other

Hey Nate I am so not depressed right now, and I am not planning on becoming so, in fact I have designed a set of metal brackets to keep me always smiling so I can combat the depression I am feeling coming from some people. The weather doesnt help either though. Anyways heres a q for you, if we always look back on past "important" things and laugh at them as being small and inconsequential, when does that ever stop? I mean when do things become important? I guess in our cases it would fall when you die, and you can look at your whole life, and laugh at your desperate attempts to be popular and fill your life with money and other junk. Anyways so I am so glad that I am not looking long term for my life, cause in the end it isnt important at all(I mean job wise and such). By the way you have so many allusions to random movies tv series and musical groups that it made me laugh. I should try an entry like that sometime. PS You never get used to the 7 week terms, I mean I always feel like time is flying, but you just deal by doing

Nathaniel, I know what you are saying in seeing no reason to be upset about things, and if that is how you live your life and you are happy, then I think thats great. Your advice is wonderful and really well thought out and logical. And it shows that you really care about how your friends are feeling and want to help them.

But, here's my opinion. It may only be relevant to myself, but I figured I'd throw it out there.. I didnt want to clog your livejournal response page with a big long entry, so I posted it on my site, but check it out cause Id like to hear how you feel in response.
