A lifetime of homeschool made me indifferent to weekends.
Three weeks of summer school, and three still to go, has made me appreciate the weekends much more than I ever have.

Oh but we had math summer school midterms last Wednesday, and I didn't fail.
(I got a 69% on it and that isn't failing.)
Trying to do algebra makes my head hurt!

my mom is getting a new sewing machine, and it will be here any day now, meaning monday or tuesday since we were expecting it today. oh and that means i get her old one! so i got to bring it up into my room earlier, and i've been working on making some clothes ( Read more... )

cornell was awesome, the program things were great, i met two new people and we're planning on keeping in touch, i got my own room but it was next to my friends so that was okay. we had to wake up at 5 or 5:30 am every morning, and there was A LOT of walking. the first two days were horribly hot and humid too ( Read more... )
