MARRIAGE AND INTIMACY BY CAROL HOLDT IS A TERRIBLE CLASS. It's the first - AND LAST - online class I will ever take. It's impersonal and hostile and just ridiculous. The only good thing that it had going was that it was easy - UNTIL I FOUND OUT THAT I GOT A C ON MY TERM PAPER that I was rather proud of

I don't ever bother with online classes; I've heard too many awful things about them. I would love to take Gender and Communication, but the instructor and the online-ness of the class prevent that from ever happening.

You should totally take Women and Rock 'n Roll from Sarah Dougher. It's not an easy class (I only got a B+) but it's really fun. Sarah rocks.

I'd have to read the paper to give any real opinion, but in general, exclamation points are frowned upon in formal, academic discourse. Even on tender subjects, they like you to take a more detached point of view. However, if it's a paper on intimacy, then details like first kisses and doubts are sort of what the paper is *supposed* to be about, isn't it?

I'm sorry you're frustrated. Being a student sucks sometimes. :( ::hugs::
